Theresa M. (Pierce) Skaling

Theresa Skaling, 79, of Stoneham, MA was called home to rest in heaven on December 25th 2021 after a long illness.

She is predeceased by her parents James and Theresa Pierce and her 10 brothers and sisters, Richard , George, Thomas, Henry, James, Dorothy, Elizabeth, Joan, Ann, and Irene.

Theresa was married to her amazing late husband Daniel Skaling for 54 years. Together they built a loving home with their three surviving children Laura Backman, Daniel Skaling and Theresa Skaling.

She will be sorely missed by her 4 surviving grandchildren Michael Skaling, Brandon Skaling, Peter Backman and Stephanie Backman all who she adored with her whole heart. She will also be missed greatly by her brother in laws and many nieces and nephews.

Theresa Skaling was the best mother and wife anyone could ask for, who lived to take care of her family. She was a woman of faith and loved God, music, gardening. She also enjoyed cooking for her family and friends.

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with the family on Wednesday December 29th 2021 in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. Stoneham, MA from 4-7 pm. Parking attendants and elevator available.

A funeral mass celebrating Theresa's eternal life will be held in St. Patrick's Church, 71 Central St Stoneham, MA Thursday December 30th 2021 at 9 am. Please go directly to the church.
