Thomas R. Bradford

Thomas Robert Bradford of Stoneham passed away on June 20th at the age of 89.

Tom was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving at the Naval Hospital in Newport, RI. A proud graduate of The College of the Holy Cross, Tom built a successful career as a salesman in the construction equipment industry.

Raised in Boston's Back Bay, he was predeceased by his parents Matthew and Adelaide Bradford and five brothers and two sisters.

Thomas was predeceased by his wife Francis A. (Murphy),whom he met in Newport. His memory will be cherished by his children Thomas Bradford Jr. and his wife Kathleen, Paul Bradford, Judith Ryan and her husband Peter, Susan Gwizdak and her husband Richard, Janet Odenwelder, and Michael Bradford and his wife Wendy. Tom was the Grandfather to 14 and Great Grandfather to 12.

Funeral services will be from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT28) Stoneham on Wednesday, June 28th, at 9am, followed by a Funeral Mass Celebrating Thomas' Eternal Life at St. Patrick's Church, 71 Central Street, Stoneham at 10am. Interment will be in Lindenwood Cemetery.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share memories with his family at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 to 8pm.
