Thomas E. Richer

Thomas E. Richer of Stoneham passed away on August 18, 2015 at the age of 65. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him.

Thomas proudly served in the United States Army and fought in the Vietnam War. He was the recipient of 2 Bronze Stars and 3 Purple Hearts for his service. Thomas was very active with Stoneham Little League. He was a coach for many years.

Thomas is the beloved husband of Anne (Kelliher) Richer. He is the devoted father of Thomas E. Richer, Jr. and his girlfriend Emily White and Andrew D. Richer and his wife Casey. Thomas is the cherished grandfather of Brady and Aubrey. He is the dear brother of Diana Burbine, Raymond Richer and his wife Maryrose, Al Richer and his wife Donna, Rose Grasewicz and her husband Paul and the late Teresa Stone, Susan Pattershall and Claire Christie. Thomas is the also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral was from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM, Saturday, August 22nd at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Thomas' Eternal Life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends gathered and shared memories with the Family on Friday, August 21st from 4-8pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants and elevator were available. Interment was at Saint Patrick Cemetery, Stoneham.
