Timothy J. Blackwell, age 65, of North Reading passed away peacefully at Winchester Hospital on January 4, 2025. Beloved son of the late Eunice (Bonin) & John J. Blackwell. Cherished brother of Dan & his wife Sue Blackwell & Bill & his wife Debbie Blackwell. Adored uncle of Thomas, Kelly and her fiance Chris Kimball, Brett, Drew. Timothy graduated from Central Catholic in Lawrence in 1977 then University of Lowell with his BA in accounting. He received his MBA from Western New England College. He grew up in Lawrence and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Worked as an auditor for the Internal Revenue Service for many years until his retirement. Timothy was an avid sports fan and also enjoyed going to Foxwoods. Timothy's  funeral service will be held in the Cota Funeral Home, 335 Park St. (corner of Park St. and Rte.28) NORTH READING, at Reading line on Sunday, Jan. 12th at 2:30pm. Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home prior to the service  from 1-2:30 pm. Interment will be private.
