Virginia "Gina" (Maffeo) Caggiano of Wakefield formerly of Stoneham, passed away Monday October 2, 2006 at Union Hospital, Lynn. She was 70 years of age.
Born in Avellino, Italy, Gina was the daughter of the late Victor and Louisa (Iannino) Maffeo. Her family was first and foremost in her life. She enjoyed cooking and gardening.
Gina was the beloved wife of Angelo M. Caggiano. She was the devoted mother of Luigi Caggiano and his wife Pattie of Reading, Tony Caggiano and his wife Maria of Groton and Victor Caggiano and his wife Amy of Stoneham. She was the loving grandmother of Christina, Anthony and Roman.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Wednesday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Gina's life in St. Patrick's Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Interment Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours Tuesday 3-7pm. Parking attendants will be on duty.
