Virginia Mae (Wilcox) Falla

Virginia Mae (Wilcox) Falla of Reading passed away on Monday, March 31, 2014 at her home. She was 92 years of age.

Born in Lynn, Virginia was the loving daughter of the late Roland Wilcox and Annie (Mudge) Wilcox. Virginia was a warm and caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She also had many friends at Summit Towers. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Virginia loved her camp in Maine. She enjoyed painting and sewing. She graduated in 1941 from the School of Fashion Design in Boston. Virginia was a past member of the Reading Art Association.

Virginia was the beloved wife of the late George Falla. She was the devoted mother of Craig Falla and his wife Marjorie, Laurie Sheehan and her husband Timothy and the late Colin Falla and his surviving spouse Maureen. Virginia was the cherished grandmother of Gregory Falla and his wife Hannah, Jessica Falla, Patrick Sheehan and his wife Alba, Casey Falla and Michael Sheehan and dear sister of the late Jean Locke.

Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Friday, April 4, 2014 from 4-7pm in the Doherty – Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St. READING.
