Virginia M. "Ginna" (Gent) Hodson of Reading passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2005 at her home. She was 56 years of age.
Born in Brighton, Ginna was the beloved daughter of the late Herbert F. Gent Jr. and Virginia M. Sullivan. Ginna was a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be missed by all.
Ginna was the President and a partner of Pro-Health Plus Insurance Company. She worked her whole life in the Health Insurance field. She was the Past President of The Council of Aging. Ginna did a lot of volunteer work in the Department of Mental Health.
Ginna was devoted to her family. They were first and foremost in her life. She loved to spend her free time in her backyard. She was an avid gardener, reader and crafter. Ginna was an excellent cook.
Ginna was the beloved wife of Sydney Hodson III. She was the devoted mother of Whitney Goodman and her husband Christopher of Reading and the cherished grandmother of Jake Goodman. Ginna was the dear sister of Nancy Dyment of Reading, Herbert "Chip" Gent and his wife Jacqui of Carlisle, Christine Kelly of Reading, Peter Gent and his wife Leslie of Reading, Mary Hopkins and her husband Timothy of Acton, Joanne Strong and her husband Thomas of Reading. Ginna was also survived by many nieces, nephews, and her loving animals.
