Walter L. Bosy of Stoneham passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Winchester Hospital. He was 91 years of age.
Born in South Boston, Massachusetts, Walter was the son of the late Martha (Dydkowska) and William Bosy. Walter was a warm and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be sadly missed.
During WWII, Walter proudly defended our freedom by serving in the United States Air Force. Walter was a member of Stoneham Knights of Columbus, Knights of Lithuania and President of St. Patrick Church Holy Name Society.
Walter was the beloved husband of Nellie (Pechulis) Bosy. He was the devoted father of Joan Musto and her husband Richard, Barbara Weiss and her husband Dale, Carol Knedgen and her husband Dale and Robert Bosy. Cherished grandfather of 8. Dear brother of the late Leo, John, Edward and Edna Bosy. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Saturday at 9 am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Walter's life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10 am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the Family on Friday from 4-8 pm in the Funeral Home. Parking attendants will be available. Interment with Military Honors, St. Patrick's Cemetery, Stoneham.
