Wes Posey

Wes Posey, of Stoneham, formerly of Medford, passed away peacefully on Monday October 19, 2026 with his family by his side. He was 56 years of age. 

Wes was an addicted fisherman, not avid one. The tug, was his drug! Any free minute he had it was spent fishing the  Canal with his canal rat crew or surf casting any shoreline from Newburyport  to Provincentown.  He also somehow found time to coach youth basketball. He loved being on the court coaching, didn't matter boys or girls. He enjoyed the bonds he built with his teams. He also had a love for cars but most of all he loved spending quality time with his family and close friends. 

Wes is the beloved husband of Kelly (Pellegrino) Posey. He is the devoted and loving father of Tiffany Posey and Dylan Posey. He is the dear son of Jerome Posey and Nancy (Bruzzo)-Posey- Hatch. He is also survived by many loving friends as well as his fishing family. 

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with the family on Tuesday October 27th, 2026 from 4 pm to 7 pm followed by a Funeral Service Celebrating Wes' Eternal Life at 7 in the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) Stoneham. Parking attendants and elevator available.
