William P. Bowen III, 66, of Haverhill, MA passed away at home after a period of declining health on May 13, 2023.

Born in Arlington, Bill was the son of Ellen Bowen.  He was raised and educated in Somerville.  Bill loved music and in his teenage years, was a member of a rock band named Jovan. He loved being around kids and in his later years, he had white hair and a beard and was lovingly known as "Ho Ho" to his niece, Krista.  His guitars were his prized possessions and he continued to play his whole life, as music was a source of joy for him.

In addition to his mother, Bill is survived by his children, Monica and Billy, his sisters; Debbie Doyle and her husband John of North Reading and their children Mike and Krista; Patty Travison and her husband Mark of Franklin, VA and their children Tracy and Cheryl; Denise of Stuart Draft, VA and her son Manny; Diane, who predeceased Bill, and her son Kaleb; Cindy of Westford.

Relatives and friends are invite to visit with the family from 11am- 12pm in the Cota Funeral Home, 335 Park St., North Reading, MA. on Saturday June 17th. A funeral service will be held at 12pm. Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery, North Reading. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill's memory may be sent to the American Lung Association .
