William R. Dunbar Sr.

William R. Dunbar Sr. (Skip) of Methuen, formerly of Stoneham, passed away on November 25, 2025 at his home. He was 66 years of age.

William had a life long passion for music and movies. He was a proud, self taught musician. He loved going on adventures with the love of his life, his wife Tracy. He couldn’t wait to visit his favorite record stores and could spend countless hours talking about his cd collection and Rock ‘n Roll history. He enjoyed every minute going on vacation with his family and grandchildren. His greatest joy in life was being a grandfather to his ‘buddy’ Anthony, his ‘pal’ Noah and his ‘little sweet pea’ Amara. William worked hard his whole life in the computer networking field. He has made countless friends and had a million and one stories from his life, in which he could entertain you for hours.

William is the beloved husband of Tracy (Hadley) Dunbar. He is the loving father of William Dunbar Jr. and his wife Elian Azzi-Dunbar and Melissa Dunbar and Jeffrey Simone. Cherished grandfather of Anthony Azzi, Noah Dunbar and Amara Dunbar.

Survived by his brother, Raymond Dunbar Jr. and his wife Pamela. Brother-in-law, David Hadley Jr. and his wife Marian, Michael Hadley and his wife Lynne and Sister-in-law Kathy Woods. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is predeceased by his parents Raymond E. Dunbar Sr. And Shirley (Crowley).  William has joined his beloved Jack Russell companion, Daphne.🐾

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with the family on Thursday December 4th, 2025 in the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT28) STONEHAM from 5 pm to 7 pm followed by a Funeral Service Celebrating William's Eternal Life at 7. Parking attendants and elevator available.

In lieu of flowers a donation can be made in memory of William to any Animal Rescue of your choice.
