Dr. William E Ham, age 79, of Andover MA., passed away on October 26th, 2023 at Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence, MA.

Born on November 28, 1943 in Norman, Oklahoma, William was the son of William and Elizabeth Ham. He grew up in the town of Norman and did his undergrad in Oklahoma University. William started his professional career when he graduated with his Ph.D. in electrical engineering in 1970 and went on to have a successful career in the budding computer industry. He started with RCA company in 1970, and later retired from Hewlett-Packard Company in 2003.

After retirement he spent his time focused on his large and adoring family. William spent many years teaching his children and grandchildren invaluable skills and life lessons; passing his wisdom and whit to the rest of his family. Whether it was teaching his grandchildren how to fix their cars, or how to properly lay flooring, he was always available to guide and teach whomever was willing to learn.

William will forever be missed by his adoring wife Patricia of 48 years, his 4 children; Andrea Grabarz, Katrina Hawthorne, Patricia Dowling, and Christopher Ham; his 12 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

In honor of William's wishes, no formal services will be held.
