Magee, William L. –Of Berlin, previously of Somerville, Oct. 17 ^th. Beloved husband of Elvera (Gatto). Father of Rosanne Magee-Ryder and her husband Warren Freedenfeld of Newton and William J. Magee and his wife Liliana Clemenza of Toronto. Brother of Mike Magee and the late Ann Toner and Betty. Grandfather of Erica Sylvester and her husband Steve, Stephen Magee, Genevieve Ryder and Innes Magee. Great grandfather of Andrew, Wesley, Eli, Tetyana and Caroline Sylvester. William is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He worked as an architectural draftsman at a number of firms in Boston, and later became a project manager. He spent most of his career specializing in schools and hospitals. William began studying his craft while serving in the Navy and upon returning home attended the Boston Architectural Centre. He served on a destroyer in the Korean War, and took advantage of the opportunities the military offered him to see the world. However, William was known best for his sense of humor and kind heart. Funeral services in the Cota Funeral Home on Saturday, Oct. 22 ^nd at 12:30pm. Relatives and friends may visit the funeral home on Saturday from 10:30am-12:30pm. Interment will take place a St. Michael's Cemetery, Boston on Monday, Oct. 24 ^th at 11am.
