William D. "Danny" Reinold Badge # 9 Stoneham Police Department, 30 years, of Billerica, formerly of Stoneham, passed away on October 27, 2005 at his home.
Danny was a retired Stoneham Police Officer. He was a member of the Stoneham Elks and the Stoneham V.F.W. During the Vietnam War, Danny proudly defended our freedom as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps.
Danny was a warm and caring son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. He will be missed by all.
Danny was the beloved husband of Elaine (Leary) Reinold. He was the son of Catherine (Duggan) Reinold and the late William Reinold of Canterbury, New Hampshire. Danny was the son in law of Teresa Leary and the late Joseph Leary of Melrose. He was the proud father of Heather Irving and her husband Joseph of Wilmington, Rebecca Bent of Lawrence, William Daniel Reinold Jr., Badge # 51 Stoneham Police Department, Bridget Freelove and her husband Joseph of Nashua, New Hampshire, David Joseph Reinold SPC U.S. Army Airborne, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Danny was the cherished pop of Jacob, Emily, Giana, Riley, Jacob and the loyal brother of Susan Reinold of Canterbury, New Hampshire, Deborah Jeffries and her husband Robert of Stoneham and the late Linda Sinclair. He was the brother in law of Bob Sinclair of Stoneham. Danny was the admired uncle to 6 nephews, 7 nieces, 5 grand nephews and 2 grand nieces. He was respected by many aunts and uncle, friends and coworkers.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Monday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Danny's life in St. Patrick's Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours Sunday 2-4 & 7-9pm. Parking attendants will be on duty. Interment Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
